Hi there,
So, I have been kind of busy the last couple of weeks because I finally found a beautiful apartment in Maastricht. It’s located just outside the city center and it has a nice and spacious balcony, which comes in handy, especially for my bunny (sorry, not kidding). I’m so very happy and now very busy finding suitable interior and decorations. When it’s done, I will spoil you with a special blogpost or even a vlog!?
So in between of all the hard work, I’ve managed to write this blogpost and share you guys another look I want to talk about. I have combined an oversized look with a chic twist. Curious where I bought this? Keep on reading!
Oversized clothing has been all over department stores’ mannequins throughout the most recent seasons and continues to fill the shelves of celebrities retailers alike. Done right, the oversized look can be chic and flattering, and you’ll come off as put together.
However, there is a fine line between looking oversized-chic and big/sloppy. And yes, I must say, I always thought oversized clothing wasn’t fit for me, because I always thought I was drowning in oversized items. But if you combine it in a normal way (matched with some tight fitted jeans), you will rock the look and you are unstoppable.
Minimum black jeans
Minimum blouse
Minimum oversized bomberjacket
As you can see I’m not wearing black again. It’s March, so I must say, spring feeling are coming this way!
Maastricht locals will recognize the shooting location. I really love the industrial look and the 80’s feeling it brings with the pictures. Photos are made in the area: Centre Ceramique in Maastricht, it’s a place where present and past powerfully comes together. Also a beautiful location to live (but also very expensive). Maybe one day haha!
Enjoy your day girls!
Xoxo
Simone
